Check Print Cuff V-Neck Cashmere Blend Sweater

I am so disappointed with this sweater. I wait every year for this sweater. This year they have made the sweater much shorter. Its ridiculous. I compared it to the sweaters from last year. This is a few inches shorter. Its a major mistake!

I love this sweater. The material is super soft and I love that you can roll up the hem on the sleeves to show the Burberry check-print lining. Like the other reviews said, I found that it ran a size small, lengthwise in the torso. I went up a size and the sweater fit like it should. I was afraid that sizing up would make the sleeves too long, but they ended up being the perfect length for me. The sweater is slightly boxy, making it very comfortable to wear.

The cashmere is nice and soft and the sticking is good, but the sweater itself is pretty short and slightly transparent which was a turn off for me.

I feel Burberry was "phoning it in" on this one. It just doesn't have the style and fabrication that I would expect. The colors were pretty but adding the Burberry plaid cuff just didn't complete the look. The fit was good however, but I did end up returning this purchase.

I was so excited for this sweater! It was extremely soft to the touch & couldn't wait to try it on. And then I did... and was so disappointed in the fit! For a pricey piece like this, Burberry should be able to figure out how a nice sweater is supposed to fit; they missed the mark on this one completely! I agree with the others that it is too short & looks odd. Also, it has a weird "puff" going on in the chest & sleeve area that is hard to describe..but it just looks weird. For this price point, I wouldn't keep a sweater for anything less than perfection, so this one's definitely going back.

I typically wear a medium in other brands/sweaters, but like the other reviewer here I have noted that Burberry styling has a different fit, so this year I purchased the Anniversary sweater in a large. I am happy with it. I have the navy and the red, and both are striking. While the upsizing does create a roomier sweater, it doesn't look "too big" on me; the arm length is good, etc. Since this sweater is cashmere and cotton, it is extremely soft. I agree the sizing and styling should be corrected for women shopping in this price point (e.g., after 40 who wants short or tight sweaters?), but in this case the sweater works for me.
