How to use: Apply dry shampoo powder to dry hair at your roots and massage in. You can add a pinch to either your brush or your palms, too. To apply directly to your hair, lift your hair, hold the bottle upright and squeeze or sprinkle the powder right in. It performs best on oil-prone hair.
Pro tip: Applying Prêt-à-Powder Dry Shampoo before backcombing is great for building volume for updos or to add fullness to second-day hair.

Worth the price!
This is my favorite hair powder I've used. The bottle allows for precise placement on particular areas of the hair that may be more oily. It doesn't necessarily create more volume for me, but it does a really great job of eliminating oil and giving some texture. I've found that if I blend it in at night, my hair looks freshly washed in the morning. My only tip is that if you have product in your hair already, sometimes the powder will get stuck on your scalp and will look like dandruff. With really good blending, though, this is by far the best product I've used on my fine hair.

Difficult to use and ineffective
Pret-A-Powder was such a disappointment for me. It is really hard to use because of the way it’s designed. It’s a bottle with powder in it you squeeze to get it out — this means if you use it directly on your head it is uneven and clumpy, and if you try rubbing it in your hands first to fix that, it just goes everywhere. It looked like I’d just emptied a bottle of talc on to my head even when I tried to massage it in to my hair, and it provided none of the volume or oil control it promised. Maybe it works better if you’re blonde, as then it wouldn’t be quite so obvious you have white powder in your hair, but for me it was messy, ineffective, and honestly kind of pointless.

Best dry shampoo after many, many bottles
This is the best dry shampoo hands down after trying so many different brands, aerosols, even DIYs. I have dark hair and this doesn't leave any residue, is long lasting, gives great volume and smells pleasantly light. A 2oz bottle lasts 2-3 years for me. Small enough to fit into purse or desk drawer.

A WINNER
GREAT. I have very fine, straight, long blond hair. Keeping volume at the roots is a constant struggle even with mouse and thickeners. Dry shampoos are necessary for me, however,the aerosol spray are extremely damaging and most non-aerosol powders are gunky. THIS ONE IS GOOD. I tried it immediately when I received it in the mail and knew in an instant it was a winner.

Great for travel
I really like this product as I am not a huge fan of dry shampoo sprays. It is great for travel. I usually use this after I style my hair to add a little bit of volume and before I go to bed if I am planning to skip washing my hair the next day. This product doesn't really soak up oil once it's already there but helps prevent oil build up before it starts. I have very oily hair and this doesn't get rid of all of it but it definitely helps. It has a baby powder type of smell but it is pretty subtle. I have been using the smaller size for several months so it lasts a really long time, it seems like a good value for the price. Will repurchase!
