Details & care

What it is: A velvety, water-resistant dry fiber color stick that offers instant grey and root coverage with a blendable, mess-free application.

Who it's for: Anyone with any hair type, especially those looking to cover greys and/or blend lighter root areas, individual strands or sparse spaces.

What it does: Designed to cover hair lighter than the shade you choose, this color stick features a blend of mineral-based pigments, dry fibers and microspheres to create a velvety texture for easy blending and instant color payoff. Stay-Put Seal, a balm-like emollient and color seal, holds pigments in place for mess-free application and a water-resistant finish.

How to use: Use on dry hair after styling. Stroke it on like a lipstick and blend in with your fingers. It will wash out with your next shampoo. Please note that shades in blonde and dark blonde will cover greys but not dark roots.

This stuff sucks ! I sent it back . Just puts a lot of cakey stuff in your hair and still does not help to cover your roots

too little of a great product
I purchased about 5 of these color sticks as I was very impressed about how it covers gray hair. But to my great surprise- although the stick is approximately 4 inches in length, there is only about 1.5 inches of actual product in the pen! Shocking! And for $26 each? Rip off! I plan to email the company and (politely) ask to give more of the product for the price.. But it is an outstanding product.

It's OK
The consistency is like a soft eyeliner. I wish the head was flatter because when you go to "paint" the gray at your front hairline, you end up painting your scalp. I'll continue using it as I paid so much for it, but I won't purchase it again.

Cover stick
I have dark brown hair and I’ve been using a powder cover for grays between coloring. I thought I would try this one as a backup being that it’s not a powder and it really doesn’t work much at all to cover anything. I will be sticking with my powder cover up even though I don’t like the feel of the powder on my scalp. One good thing I can say is this product is fragrance free.

I like this because it allowed me more control over where the color went. With sprays I find that I don’t have as much control over where the product goes and I end up with it on my fingers and face. The color stick was great for the roots around my face. Didn’t leave any smudges on my skin.
