Bryn Heritage High Chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros - Aesthetics: This is just about as stylish as a high chair can get! It’s sleek & luxurious, and the Clove colorway is a gorgeous neutral brown that will blend seamlessly with just about any decor. Easy of cleaning: The cushions are surprisingly easy to clean, and there’s not many nooks & crannies where food gets stuck. Makes it super easy to wipe down. One handed operation: The footrest adjustment and harness release are both very easy to operate using just one hand. Assembly: Super easy to assemble, and very intuitive. Took me 5 minutes (if that) and I hardly needed the instructions. Well packaged, too! Grows with them: The tray can be removed so as they grow, they can eat at the table with you! Cons - Seat sizing: My 2 year old is in the 25% percentile for weight and height, and he fits very well in this high chair. But for the chunksters, I can imagine it might be a bit of a squeeze. However, you could always remove the cushions to make a bit more room as they grow. Tray issues: The tray on this high chair is stationary, so you can’t adjust it closer or further from the child. I’m teaching my child to lean over his plate when eating, but sometimes there’s still a bit of food that falls into his lap. (Mine refuses to wear those silicone catch-all bibs!) I’ve also noticed the surface area is a bit smaller than other chairs - his plate tends to rock a bit because it has to sit on the lip of the tray. The lip is also very small, so if you have a “swiper” that loves to knock their plate off the tray, they may be more successful in doing so since there’s not much of a lip to hold things in. Overall, it’s a beautifully designed, high quality high chair. I can see this being a wonderful option for most families, just keep sizing in mind for larger kiddos!
