Bryn Heritage High Chair

I got the Stokke Tripp Trap and this one to compare side by side before I decide which one to keep. This chair is a lot better looking in my opinion but it does lack some features compared to the Stokke. The foot rest does not go up high enough for my 6mo to reach, the lip on the tray isn’t as high so server-ware can slide off easier, and if my baby leans back he can hit his head on the wooden back. That being said, I still haven’t decided which one I’ll be keeping, but did want to share what I’ve noticed so far since there aren’t any reviews on it yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was a little heavy but the seat itself is a nice weight. It feels sturdy and well made. The tray was a little difficult to put on but now I am used to lifting it so it's not hard! I like the material it's made out of. It feels very "rich" and elegant but still made for babies. The style reminds me of the kind you would see in a restaurant. The size makes it ideal for any home. I didn't think I would like the color but I actually love it! It reminds me of a smooth chocolate bar. Being 5 months pregnant I struggled a little bit with getting the legs pushed in all the way. Other than that, assembly was pretty easy and straight forward. If I wasn't pregnant it would have been super easy. The adjustable foot rest is really neat. It pushes in then goes up and down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros - Aesthetics: This is just about as stylish as a high chair can get! It’s sleek & luxurious, and the Clove colorway is a gorgeous neutral brown that will blend seamlessly with just about any decor. Easy of cleaning: The cushions are surprisingly easy to clean, and there’s not many nooks & crannies where food gets stuck. Makes it super easy to wipe down. One handed operation: The footrest adjustment and harness release are both very easy to operate using just one hand. Assembly: Super easy to assemble, and very intuitive. Took me 5 minutes (if that) and I hardly needed the instructions. Well packaged, too! Grows with them: The tray can be removed so as they grow, they can eat at the table with you! Cons - Seat sizing: My 2 year old is in the 25% percentile for weight and height, and he fits very well in this high chair. But for the chunksters, I can imagine it might be a bit of a squeeze. However, you could always remove the cushions to make a bit more room as they grow. Tray issues: The tray on this high chair is stationary, so you can’t adjust it closer or further from the child. I’m teaching my child to lean over his plate when eating, but sometimes there’s still a bit of food that falls into his lap. (Mine refuses to wear those silicone catch-all bibs!) I’ve also noticed the surface area is a bit smaller than other chairs - his plate tends to rock a bit because it has to sit on the lip of the tray. The lip is also very small, so if you have a “swiper” that loves to knock their plate off the tray, they may be more successful in doing so since there’s not much of a lip to hold things in. Overall, it’s a beautifully designed, high quality high chair. I can see this being a wonderful option for most families, just keep sizing in mind for larger kiddos!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this high chair knocks it out of the park! This is the third high chair that we have tried with my 21 month old, and this is by far the best. I’ll start with the obvious, it is beautiful. The materials feel high quality and like it will last a lifetime! It was a breeze to put together, but it also comes apart easily to clean! I love that the buckles are totally removable so they can be cleaned easier! This is a three point harness that connects with magnets, so it was easy to clip in and I was not worried about pinching any skin when they connected. I love that this lasts all the way up to 60 pounds! My little one likes to sit right at the table, and he was able to climb in himself, we are in the independent stage, then I moved the foot rest up and added the front piece before I clipped him in. He has never sat up so well in any other high chair we have tried, and I think it is also helping him to eat more since he seems so comfortable! This chair has everything from the looks to the convenient details that makes it a total winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of this product. It is very well made and beautiful! So easy to put together and the adjustable footrest is a great touch. Easy to clean and the seat cushion can be washed and set out to dry for the extra messy meals.
