Agree with the prior reviewer—These boots are well made with buttery leather. The only challenge is with sizing. I am a true size 6 with regular size ankles and I had trouble putting on the boots because the opening was a bit narrow. The shoes overall felt tight after putting on. I am hoping that half a size up will fix it.

I ordered these boots in my normal size 6 in both the black leather and the taupe suede. They are absolutely gorgeous and the leather / suede are really soft. I have slightly wide feet and had difficulty getting my feet into both pairs at the instep (not sure if it’s my feet or if they need a longer zipper). Both were comfortable once I got them on - a bit narrow but leather is so soft they will likely stretch. I ordered both pairs in 6-1/2 (which I occasionally wear in Italian shoes) and will decide which size to keep when I get them. I did want to mention that the sole is synthetic, not leather - a bit surprising at this price but not an absolute deal killer for me.
