Ricochet 2 Running Shoe (Women)

These are great so far. True to size of all my other brooks. I wear a size 7 and always size 1/2 size up for my runners. These did take some breaking in. The back of the show rubbed my Achilles the first couple wears. One thing to note is that these have a sock-like fit, then tie over the “sock top.” If that makes sense. These are not traditionally laced with a tongue to pull up. For narrow feet and standard arch (like mine) this is great. However, these would likely not work for someone with a high arch or a wider foot. Happy Running!

This is my first pair of Brooks. I like them. I normally wear a 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. The shoe goes on like a sock with the option of tightening the laces for a snugger fit The toe box is medium with some arch support. These shoes are lightweight but the sole isnt as cushiony as my Nikes. I’ve worn the shoes once on a 2 mile run and once just running errands. No real issues. I noticed the fit is snug. I’m just not used to breaking in sneakers and I feel like that is what I need to do with these. I never have to break in my Nikes. I should add, while running I didn’t even notice the shoe. I was just running and the shoe gave stability, no pain. After my run the shoes felt tight and snug hence the reason why may need to “break them in”. I also haven’t been wearing shoes that often since the pandemic started and I’ve been working from home so that may skew this review a bit .
