Don’t purchase
I loved the feel of these shoes for the two months and then I noticed a black line in the sole and upon further inspection of my shoe I realized they were cracks on the bottom Of the shoes. I’m very disappointed in these shoes having spent so much money on them. I don’t recommend buying until they correct this problem.

comfortable
Definitely gives a good response and cushion when running and walking. Overall soft but could use more structure. Material had a weird odor but i will put up with it as the shoe does the job for all my workouts.

Soles crack way too soon!
SO disappointed! Shortly after buying my 1st pair of Levitate 2's, I bought a 2nd pair because they are so comfortable, yet they provide excellent stability. These features are critical when you have problem feet that will forever have pins and screws from surgeries. Now, BOTH pairs have cracks in the soles, and I'm not even an expert runner by any stretch. They look like I've run 20 miles/day in them every day for months on end. I would expect a shorter shoe life if I were marathon training, but I'm definitely not. I'm just a hobby runner, with time for only about 3 - 5 miles most mornings. For years, Brooks have been my go-to for running and casual wear because of their comfort and support. I expected more from Brooks with the Levitate line.

Better Brooks
Great Brooks - prefer this older version to the updated one. The back heel comes in a touch but does not impede. There is nice arch support, stability and cushion. My only complaint is the foot bed. I wish it had more spring. I also would have liked a more substantial base under my pad toes. Overall a nice walking sneaker.
