Walking on a Cloud: The Brooks Glycerin Flex Exceeded My Expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a loyal Brooks Ghost wearer for years, but after feeling less impressed with my recent pairs, I decided to branch out and try the Glycerin Flex in Peach Echo/Coral/Coconut — and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment I slipped them on, the difference was immediately noticeable. There was absolutely no break-in period — these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The cushioning is truly exceptional; it almost feels like walking on a cloud. My feet stay completely comfortable during my 5-block commute to the office every day, and I arrive without any soreness whatsoever.
As for fit, I typically wear a size 8 in running shoes, and the 8 was a perfect fit — true to size with no issues.
The Peach Echo/Coral/Coconut colorway is soft and feminine, though I wish Brooks offered more fun, bold color options for this style. That’s really my only gripe.
If you’re a Brooks loyalist who’s been on the fence about trying something new, or just someone searching for an incredibly comfortable everyday sneaker, the Glycerin Flex is absolutely worth it. It has quickly become one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

Not like my other glycerin flex
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tongue was very uncomfortable. Didn't feel comfortable when walking with them. They are not like my other glycerin flex shoes.

Great shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe is plush & cushiony, but the foam is also bouncy allowing for a smooth, comfortable run. I love the flexibility of the shoe & not feeling forced forward by a rocker design; I feel like I am running naturally in it. I did notice a couple hot spots on the outside of each of my big toes, on a 10 mile & 12 mile run, but nothing that will stop me from using it for a wide range of distances.
Well done, Brooks!

Out the ballpark with this one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn the Glycerin now for about 20 years. Switched to the stealth fit a couple years ago and fell in love a second time. Was extremely disappointed with them discontinuing the stealth fit. I actually tried two styles of another popular running shoe and sent them back. Took the chance of the Glycerin flex and wow. I will say I have fallen in love a third time. Love love love the flex. I actually ordered a second pair. Comfort is key. I am on my feet all day running so that is the main focus for me.

Great Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have strayed from another style of Brooks. The Glycerin Flex is even more comfortable than the other shoe. I walk daily either on pavement or the treadmill. I can wear them all day without any problems. Love the color.

Brooks Glycerin Flex (Women's) Rock's !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time buyer of Brook's Women's Shoes and the Glycerin Flex shoes I ordered are fantastic.
I ordered a pair for my spouse just for grins, and now she is wanting me to get her additional pairs for the Model of shoe.
She says they fit her true to size and she really appreciates how they feel on her feet.

What's with the tongue stitching??
I LOVE these shoes -- such a contemporary design, not as fat across the foot as the Ghost, more elegant. However, the big fail is the stitching along the edges of the tongue -- the stitching is awkward and thick, and rolls onto itself, making an uncomfortable, hard line across the top bones of the foot. When I put the shoe on, I had to put my finger in the shoe and smooth out the edge of the tongue to stop it happening. But doing this along four edges every time I put my shoes on was totally tedious, and when I forgot to do it, it would hurt and I'd have to stop and untie my shoe and smooth it out. This may not make any sense, it's such a weird detail, and I've never had this happen with any other shoe, ever, Brooks or no. It is really quite bizarre. Hopefully they'll sort it out in the next version, because this shoe is so close to perfection.
