Well made shoe, but had to return due to heel slippage
This is a well constructed shoe, nice leather upper, and ticks off all the boxes I needed for a plantar plate tear (wide toe box, stiff rocker sole, moderate 6 mm heel drop). However, Brooks has one big problem: it doesn't work for women who have wide forefeet and narrow heels. The heel cup is too wide and shallow, at least compared to New Balance Fresh Foam, which hugs my heels better. Before this injury, I wore Glycerins for years, and the heel cup is now also slipping. A pity-- Brooks should address this, make a deeper heel cup, like the New Balance SL-2 last, narrower in the heel.

Comfortable and nice style casual shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t find these shoes to run small. I ordered my usual Brooks size 8.5, but they feel slightly big for walking. I plan to exchange for a half size smaller. Overall, they are very comfortable for everyday walking.

Will be great for my Japan trip for greater warmth in winter. Very comfortable. Recommend trying on before purchasing to get size right. Had to go up a half size for the leather version.
