Running/walking shoe
I have bought Brooks Cascadia shoes in the past and so ordered again as mine were wearing out after 5 years. I am happy with them!

Poor quality and lifespan
Fits well, extremely poor quality. This is my second pair of Cascadia trail runners. Both pairs fit great but started to disintegrate around 100-150 miles. The treads ripped off the shoes, holes ripped open on the sides of the toebox, and the collar part around the ankles ripped open. I'm a small person and not an aggressive runner, and have been extremely disappointed at the lifespan of these shoes, especially given the reputation and cost.

Cascadia 15
These really do fit a wide foot, even my flipper. They are comfortable and supportive.

Cascadia 15
Terrific shoe, comfortable from day one, love the soles, I feel very secure on wet, slimy, rocky surfaces. The shoes dry quickly and I find them suitable for trail running, road running and walking the dog.

Great, except for fine sand
Cascadia has been my go-to over many years. I've tried various other brands and models, and keep coming back to this one for its accurate fit for my knobby but medium width, high volume feet, and comfort and security for off-trial adventure running/scrambling on rugged terrain. For me, five stars for the 15 except, the uppers of this iteration allow fine desert sand in, sometimes a lot. Despite wearing running gaiters, and having no issue with sand in other shoes. Hopefully Brooks will/has fixed this on the 16 and on. I really appreciate the integrated gaiter heel velcro; although it is kind of small, so doesn't always hold the gaiter over the course of a run.
