Change Not Good - Bring Back GTS 23
I’ve been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for decades, most recently the GTS 23. The drastic changes made to the GTS 25 are horrendous — and that’s not an exaggeration.
The new “cushioned” outsole feels mushy and unstable, like walking on Jell-O. Maybe fine for a funhouse, but not for a running shoe. The overall feel is uncomfortable, and visually they look oversized and clunky — almost like clown shoes.
Why make such a radical change to a fantastic shoe?
In my opinion, this redesign feels more like a Marketing Department project than something driven by runners. If Brooks wanted to create a shoe like the GTS 25, they should have introduced it as a completely new line or sub-line while leaving the core Adrenaline design intact. Call it the “Adrenaline GTS 2000” or something similar — but don’t replace a proven classic.
Unfortunately, no other Brooks model fits my foot properly, so for me it’s goodbye Brooks.
I returned the GTS 25.
Bring back the GTS 23 with the wider last.

Lightweight but Lacks Cushioning and Comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like these, but they just aren't comfortable for me. While the shoes feel impressively lightweight, they lack the cushioning I need for walking, resulting in a very firm ride. Additionally, the design of the heel finger pull-tab is frustrating; it sits too high and consistently rubs against the back of my leg, causing significant discomfort during use

Supportive and keep me moving!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a walker (previously walked 18,000-20,000 steps per day). After a major flare up of plantar fascitis, I had to take a few months off and find new shoes. After trying several different kinds, the Adrenaline GTS 25 felt the best and gave the most relief. They allowed me to gradually start moving again. As I have ramped up my walking a little more the Adrenaline are keeping up with me and providing the support that I need!
