Addiction Walker my Podiatrist's Delight
I have Type 2 Diabetes and for years since diagnosis I have been going to a senior podiatrist quarterly. I needed a walking shoe but not being young, my hands are such that I cannot handle shoes with laces any more. The podiatrist had no hesitation in recommending this Brook Addiction Walker. With its Velcro straps and scientific design, the shoes feel like walking on air. This is now my third pair. Very satisfied

Strap integrity issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I wore the Brooks Men's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe with laces because the cushioning is best. In March of 2025 I purchased the Addiction Walker V-Strap 2 to check out. The straps take some getting used to because of their excessive length when shoes on. I didn't wear them much for that reason. However, after a while the velcro attached under the strap separated. Eventually, the strap will separate in two. See attached pic. So that takes away from the value of the shoes. I will return to the laced version of the Addiction Walker.

Great shoe

Sho was for 85 years old man. Stable shoe great support kind of an all occasion shoe. Dressy enough for church and casual enough for a stroll in the park.

No more Grandpa's feet with these kickers on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a shoe to take with me to Las Vegas that allowed me to be on my feet walking all day. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we had plans that involved walking almost everywhere. I have Hallux Rigidus in my left foot along with a planters wart that popped up out of nowhere. The Addiction Walker shoe along with a good cushioned sock was the ticket. The whole time my feet were as comfortable as can be, and I was able to walk all day without any pain. I'll be wearing them when we go on our cruise to Alaska, that's for sure.
