Bronzer Brush

Love love love!!! Been looking hard to find the right bronzer brush. I take my brushes very serious as it is an investment in my daily routine! Beauty matters! How well I apply my foundation, blush, etc makes a huge difference in my tools! This brush will be with me for a long long long time! I only buy the best, I have brushes that are 20 years old, washing them with care, they still perform! So here’s another one to add to my collection! No I’m not a hoarder of brushes.

Soft, luxurish and high quality. You get what you pay for especially when it comes to makeup brushes. You gotta spend some extra money to get a brush that will do what it advertises. This brush is well worth the cost. The bristles are extremely soft, it blends bronzer like a champ and overall its everything you need in a bronzer brush. I've had mine for about 2 years now and its as if I purchased it yesterday. I will say that hygiene and cleanliness are a big part of taking care of your brushes. Make sure you are WASHING your brushes!!! Dirty brushes can harbor bacteria, make you break out and ruin the softness of the bristles. Bobby Brown has a fantastic brush cleaner/conditioner that I also recommend. Keep your brushes clean and they will lasts for years and years to come.

I was excited to get this brush, as I trust Bobbi Brown bronzers completely. A year later, I can say I’ve never reached for it. The bristles are course and dense, so you run the risk of picking up too much product - especially if you’re using a soft, silky bronzer. The bristle head is also too long, too stiff and a bit narrow so it doesn’t fan or flex intuitively with the curves of the face. I just don’t feel like I have enough control with it, and the result is often dark and patchy. Bummer.
