Have used & loved this for over 12 years
For reference, I have thin color treated pin-straight short to medium length hair that never seems to want to cooperate with me. I have thin hair, but a lot of it. I had a stylist recommend this to me about 12 years ago. I have used & adored it ever since.
It takes such a small amount that the bottle lasts me quite a while so the price is definitely worth it for me.
I apply this on damp hair (almost but not quite dry) Its the last product I use before blow drying my hair. This is the ONLY product I've found that actually holds my style in after blow drying. It adds shine & hold for more than a day.
Its VERY easy to use too much of the product so if you're just trying it out & have short or fine hair, use less than a pea sized amount, focusing on ends. You don't want to apply this anywhere near your roots as it can add too much shine & weight if you use too much.
I don't know what I'd do if Aveda ever discontinued this product because nothing compares to it!

Do not buy this
I have bought and returned this product twice. If you look at the reviews for this product on the Aveda website you will see what you can expect; a separated, watery, gluey, disgusting mess of a product! My hair looked worse when I used it on my wet hair. It made my hair look matted down, almost in dread lock in some areas and frizzy with zero definition in others. The fact that so many people are getting defective products from Aveda and they have not issued a recall is disappointing. Save your money and your hair. Do not buy this product.

Awesome product.
I have dry, colored hair. I’m in my 60’s and have noticed my hair becoming more wiry from the grey hairs. I’ve tried numerous products, this product is great! My hair feels silky and manageable. I use on damp hair before blow drying, or on dry. A little goes a long way.

Great fragrance.
This cream adds shine, but the best part is the scent. Yeah, I could buy at the Aveda store, but I order through Nordstrom to get the points. A little dab will do. I wish this fragrance was sold separately by Aveda.

Finally!
I've used Aveda products for years, but hadn't tried this one until now. I'm so happy I finally found this styling cream. I run a couple of pea-sized drops through my damp hair after washing and it helps control the frizz of my crazy curls while adding shine and softness. It smells nice too. It's what I've been looking for for a long time.
