This pomade is a tried and true workhorse for those with curly hair who want a sleek bun or ponytail style. The formula does not yield flakes or have a yellowish hue like some other pomades. I love the scent. Just a word of caution: the lid is on very tight so the contents don't spill during shipping, but if you have manual dexterity issues, you might need some help opening the product.

Fabulous!!!!!
Tried every product on the earth and I finally found THE PRODUCT!! My hair is dry and damaged from multiple color enhancements and this smooths and styles my hair as if there was no damage! Great for thin hair as well!!!

I remember using this product in the 90's and loving it. It made my hair luscious and brought out the waves. Sadly, it doesn't work the same way any longer for my hair. Not sure if it's my hair texture or the formula that's changed.

FedEx delivery nightmare
FedEx is the worst possible expeditor. They don't carry phones with them. I'll purchase this product elsewhere in the future to avoid the five day annoyance of dealing with them. Product is great, have used it for years. I thought purchasing online would save me so hassle. Boy, was I ever mistaken!

works well on my hair during the winter months
I purchased the anti-humectant pomade last summer. My hair is wavy, but I like to straighten it, and it really frizzes up in the summer humidity. The anti-humectant formula works well to control summer frizz and "pouffing". This winter I noticed flyaways and static on my straightened hair so ordered this humectant formula. It works well to control flyaways/static. I was nervous it would make my hair frizzy, like summer humidity does, but it does not. I use a very small amount so my hair will not look or feel dirty. I counted on the reviewers and they were correct about that. I'm not a fan of the scent, so a star off for that. It's a little stronger and medicinal than I'd prefer, but not a deal breaker.
