I ordered L for my husband and had to exchange them for a M. They are very nice quality sweatpants but they run quite large. I suggest ordering one size smaller than your normal size.

Rear seam ripped on second wearing!
The fit was a bit larger than expected for this size, but it didn't bother my teen too much. What did bother him was that it ripped on the butt seam on the second wearing. He was relieved it happened at home and not at school! I would return this item if I could.
