Tarnishes and can not return because it's a marketplace purchase. Followed the directions but the part with the stones tarnishes

Gorgeous necklace!
I’m very, very pleased with the quality of this necklace. It looks much more expensive than it actually was. It’s delicate but shows off beautifully on the neck. LOVE IT.
