The Chain Cassette Bag

I wanted to love this bag, I’ve been eyeing it for some time and was so excited when I got the chance to order it but unfortunately I ended up sending it back, yes, it looks amazing in photos but realistically I couldn’t handle that thing on my shoulder for more than 15 mins. The chain is so awkward and heavy, it digs into your shoulders and I felt like I needed a massage the second I put the bag down. Not for me.

I honestly was expecting this buttery amazing quality but quality was okay . Front flap had some darker toned piece. I thought I got used one but it was in all wrappers and tags attached . Chain does not look as amazing as it does in Instagram photos . It was very yellow gold . I just don’t feel like it’s a bag that’s worth the amount I paid for it . Also I’m 5 9 and crossbody sits very high . Like almost like a belt bag. It’s meant to be worn shoulder but it slips off and it’s not practical . Also embarrassing amount of chain noise it made when I tried it on. I don’t see myself wearing it outside and walking into a restaurant or store with that chain noise.

chain is very heavy. As everything Bottega it is simply stunning. The chain is quite substantial and noisy. Wishing it had at least two metal feet on the bottom to prevent wear. I am 5’4” and it’s a bit short to wear crossbody. Overall happy with my purchase.

I love my handbag, Bottega Veneta creates both stylish and well made handbags. I can wear this bag with jeans and a suit. Love it.

This is a must-have for any handbags collector. It is a bit on the heavier side but it holds more than I expected it to. I like to use it as a clutch. The colors are magnificent (I now own two) and it's such a statement piece that elevates any outfit. I love this bag!

Snap to close purse fell off even though this is more of a special purse not every day purse! Too expensive to have hardware fall off. By the way, the silver chain is super heavy.
