Nordstrom has superior customer service
They arrived damaged/worn. Nordstrom should have checked them before shipping. Customer service was EXCELLENT when I returned them in store! Patrice was cheerful, helpful, gracious, polite and efficient! The customer who damaged them originally was inconsiderate and worse. This was the last pair in my size.

Versatile and Comfortable
LOVE these! Leather lined. Stiff leather top. Great arch support! They are a bit more pricey than other Birks, but worth it since they’re all leather except sole. Cork heel is also wrapped in leather. Great with or without socks. The buckle can be slightly adjusted for a more snug fit. They do seem to run a bit more narrow which works great for my feet. I normally wear an 8B, so size 39 is perfect.

Mega Creasing!
Just as another reviewer stated, feels like plastic. Ordered online and upon receiving it already has creasing. I imagine if I were to keep these they would crease even more looking like they would crack. Love the concept on the shoe…it can be dressed up! Will be returning. I hope they redo these with better execution.
