Unique wearable personal audio system
-1st of all Nordstrom's Service exceeds every expectation!-
The Bose SoundWear Companion Speaker is very unique & perfect for those that don't want to wear headphones or use stationary speakers for their music experience. Once you put them on the music immerses your ears. It's a unique experience to say the least. It may lack deep bass for some music, but I enjoy the clarity, experience, & convenience that they offer. I can move around the office, home, and workshop while still being aware of my surroundings (important in certain environments). If you play the music loud enough others in close proximity may/will hear it in a quiet setting, but you should be able to listen to it at a lower level, because of the lack external sounds. People won't hear it if there is other external sounds (other conversations, nature/city sounds, etc) and if you keep the audio at a reasonable level. Best way to explain it, you can't max out the volume & expect to drown out all other noises/conversations, like headphones. Not the best choice for running & mountain biking, but I have enjoyed them skateboarding (Longboard) & cruising on a bicycle, where being aware of your surroundings is critical. Sorry for the long review, but I do hope it helps.

Mono audio
For anyone that can discern the difference between stereo sound and mono, you will be disappointed with these. 2nd time to review, Bose wouldn’t post my first review. Why? If you try the product you’ll know why...it was accurate...

Highly Recommend
I bought these for my husband when they first came out. He loves them til this day. He can listen to his music, podcasts, and audiobooks while still being alert. He uses them at work and no one even gets bothered by the sound because it's so low to his surroundings. They can get really loud as well if you put it on high and don't wear them around your neck. Audio is clear even talking on the phone is clear both ways. The app is cool just to edit the sound but he just uses his regular apps for music, etc. Love them and I love that he has them because now I don't hear his loud music anymore.

Boise collar
Just opened the package and haven't taken it off.
This is perfect for walking as well of listening around the house doing chores.
It's so annoying when i workout and have the earbuds fall out. No more with the new speaker collar.
I've convinced my neighbor he needs one as too.
it is comfortable and keeps the charge a long time. I took it out of the box and put it on. I've had it on for 4 hours and haven't had to recharge it yet.

I can hear clearly now, the plugs are gone.
I have now had these for a while they are the best thing that I've ever purchased for listening to music or chatting. I can cook and clean without disruption. My hands are always free to do other things.

Great tech
Using it as part of a project supporting people with dyslexia, considered the glass, but went for the sound wear. Great sound, easy to connect and use.
