Background noises are loud
Background noises are almost amplified. This same issue occurred with the QC30 earbuds I had. Unfortunately had to return after trying to troubleshoot and make them work

Good noise canceling and sound
Noise canceling works well. Works to cut background noise at home/office and works well for the aircraft noise in the cabin. These headphones cannot compare to the Bose 700 over ear headphones but it works in the environments I encounter on a daily basis.

Greatly disappointed, especially for Bose
In my quest for active noise-canceling earbuds, I researched all the usual brands. While I appreciate the Bose sound quality coming THROUGH the earbuds these do NOT work for sound going into the earbud (your voice) via the microphone. I tried these in various environments on phone calls and on conference calls where the person on the other side of the call needed to hear my voice and they all stated the background sounds were amplified to meet the volume of my voice causing confusion on what I was saying. I downloaded new updates and scoured the Bose website for fixes and nothing but others sharing the same issue. I’ll stick to my Apple AirPods Pro for my calls and my Bose QC 700 for the Bose quality music/noise canceling enjoyment.

Epic sound system typical of Bose just in your ear. The noise cancellation feature is an escapists dream.

discomfort
Hand gestures features are nice, but crap when Noise Cancellation is on. Each time you Tap or Swipe, you can hear those rubbing sound amplified through your year canal. It is more annoying to wear them for music. Siri or Google command, each Time you tap, it sound like “thump thump”…
This device ain’t worth it!
