Verona Chelsea Boot (Women)

Born has revamped their shoes! This is so comfortable right out of the box. I stopped buying born for a while because they just weren’t comfortable. These have a ton of cushion and arch support. I purchased the taupe. It’s a distressed leather but not sloppy or unprofessional looking. This is a beautiful boot that can be worn with anything. And true to size!

I love Born boots and these did not disappoint. I have a neuroma and fairly skinny feet so issues with fitting and comfort. I have owned Born boots in the past and loved them but I needed something with more cushion in the sole. In the past I wore size 8-8 1/2 but now usually wear a 9 - 9 1/2. However, Born runs long. Initially bought an 8 1/2 and wore around the house but the fit was too sloppy. Would probably be fine if wearing a thick sock but the ones I use are thin-medium one. I exchanged for an 8 and couldn’t be happier, in fact bought a 2nd pair in another color. Born boots give a little with wear but not too much. I’ve walked quite a bit in these and they are super comfortable. If you are looking for comfort and style go with Born boots!

These boots were comfortable right from the beginning. Right after I bought them I took them on vacation where I was walking over an hour every day for multiple days. They look nice for work, going out, and casual wear. I tried on both these and the Born Cove boots, and thought the Verona were lighter weight and looked sleeker, especially since I have narrow ankles. I do plan to waterproof these with mink oil or beeswax.
