Close; but no cigar
Good looking shoes. Decent quality. Nice fit. Unfortunately, the shoe firmly rubs the back of my Achilles tendon. The shoe looks like it has adequate padding, but it doesn't. The padding/cushion along the inside back is not dense at all. It almost seems more for show than function. When you put the shoes on, your Achilles will push through the shallow padding and ride directly along the stiff back edge. I didn't notice it when I tried the shoes on and walked a few steps. However, when I wore them all day at work, the backs of my Achilles were really sore and bruised. Your mileage may vary.
