Stretch Washed Chino 9-Inch Shorts

First, let me say the button on these shorts is fantastic and has held up great. Once you get used to it, it's head and shoulders above other buttons. However, as a whole the shorts are not great, especially for the price. I ordered a blue and khaki pair, and less than 4 months later the blue color has faded and looks bad (I followed the care instructions, and it hasn't happened with any other pairs of clothes I own). The khaki pair has held up fine. The second major flaw is that the pockets are not deep enough, and the shape of the pockets are not designed to hold items in. My phone (iPhone X size) and keys fall out frequently enough that it's an issue. One time my car keys fell out while I was on vacation. We fortunately found them on a chair in the room we were staying at, but that was after 30 minutes of looking and figuring we'd have to pay $100 to get the key replaced. I've never had this issue this bad on any other pair of shorts or pants I've owned, and it's so frustrating every time it happens.
