What it is: A limited-edition three-piece lip kit featuring a Lip Pencil, Amplified Lipstick and a Lipglass in a new midtone pink hue.
Set includes:
- Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare (0.05 oz.): A lip liner designed for shaping, lining or filling in your lips.
- Lipglass in Glass Half Full (0.10 oz.): A lip gloss that conditions your lips with a glass-like finish.
- Amplified Lipstick in Bare Blanket (0.11 oz.): An ultracreamy lipstick with eight-hour wear.
How to use: Apply Amplified Lipstick directly to lips from the lipstick bullet or use a brush for more precision. Apply the Lip Pencil before lipstick by lining your lips using the pencil tip for a defined lip look with long-lasting color. Try a shade slightly deeper than your lipstick and blend with a brush for a fuller lip look. Apply Lipglass to lips using the doe-foot applicator. For fuller-looking lips, concentrate the Lipglass in the center of lips. Apply on top of your favorite lipstick to add a high-shine effect with intense color.

Yes it's not pink
So I understand why the people who did leave reviews were upset because it was not really pink - definitely more of a mauve. HOWEVER, I think the whole set it gorgeous and super wearable and I would highly recommend it. Just don't expect it to be pink

I’m not sure if this classified as pink at all. It’s almost the same color as my dark nude lip colors from MAC. I’m sad because this set was such a great value but the colors are definitely not pink.

Neutral is very orange, pink is beautiful
I purchased both the neutral and the pink set. The neutral is very orange. I love MAC and have purchased almost every neutral lip kit in the last 5 years. This one is terrible. I haven't decided if I will hold onto it to see if it works for Fall or return it. Not at all what I was expecting based on the photos.
The pink however is beautiful. Also not what I was expecting based on the photos, but it is a great mauve shade, also probably best for Fall. Like others have said, it is darker than what the pictures show. If you are deciding between the two, pick the pink one!

Not a neutral color
I was so excited about this purchase and so sad to see how orange the lipstick was on me. I had to return it because there was no way for me to pull off that color. With all of these reviews saying the same thing, I am not sure why Nordstrom doesn't update the description to more accurately represent the color and save everyone a lot of hassle. If orange is a good color on you, then this is a great product at a great price!

Agreed - not pink
I have to echo the reviews. Neither the lipstick nor lipgloss are pink. The lipstick is a medium toned warm mauve brown which pulls more brown on me. The lipgloss is MLBD (my lips but deader) and is a pale mauve with no shimmer. I'm returning. I think this probably would have been an appropriate lipstick for the neutral kit. I don't hate it at all, it's just not what I was looking for. The lipglass is like soar with added grey tones or lovechild without the shimmer and a ton of added grey tones - not a fan.
