Great boots for winter!
I bought these to go hiking in Alaska in December, which is really cold. They kept me warm the whole time and I still wear them during winters in CT. Definitely these boots !

A total disappointment!
On my farm nothing but Bogs Bogs, and more Bogs at least 12 pairs. This pair is the biggest disappointment! Very narrow, not warm in the least!

Great boots for winter!

Warm, easy walking
Warm and easy to walk in, doesn't feel like a big, clunky boot. All leather--no plastic to crack, no latex rubber. Soul has good traction. Great for cold mornings walking the dog, in the rain or deep snow. Waterproof, easy on and off. I wish they were a little more stylish, but I picked because they had all the function I wanted. Wide toe box. I sized up, probably didn't need to.

Practical and easy on the eyes!
Great for practical applications, like hiking in the Montana mountains without being bulky or clunky. Great sole tread for varying terrain with solid laces for ankle and calf support for traction. The toe box is a bit wide, which is why I gave 4 stars, it is good for thick socks but even still a bit big. Not sure if I should have sized down a half size.

Boots are Cold
I am extremely disappointed in these boots. They are the coldest boots I have ever worn. After wearing them 4 times my feet were so coild! These are NOT what I expected. I really like my pull on work style boots that keep my feet incredibly warm. I will NOT recommend these boots at all. They also run narrow.
