Ladies! This really is worth it!
I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on makeup, looking for the perfect mascara, eyeliner, blush or eyeshadow that would suddenly transform me into my most beautiful me possible.. These shadows are it! I first started wearing them when they were limited edition & though I never thought I would ever spend this much money on an eyeshadow, it took just one nice salesperson to turn me onto them. I do not wear them by themselves. I use them as "topcoats" to any and all of my other eye shadows. I am in my mid thirties & even though I like glitter I had resigned myself to the fact that I was too old for sparkle. This truly is "grown up glitter/shimmer" I have never received so many compliments as I do when I wear these shadows (I have more than half the colors. I highly recommend that if your new to these, buy one light & one darker shade so you can wear them on top of every eyeshadow you own!) I promise, stop by a store and try them on top of a nude, taupe or neutral shadow and you will be sold!

Very Disappointing Shadow
While this looks dark and sparkly in the pan, this shadow does not show well on lids. It is basically a useless shadow and requires at least 3-4 applications to even show a faint hint of color and sparkle. Certainly not worth the investment. I wasn't expecting much sparkle based on other reviews, but I did expect some color to show. Disappointing.

These are great shadows. I never would have chosen them for myself until an associate at the counter suggested it. I'm in my 40s and definitely not into glittery shadow. I have a few colors but my favorite is a limited edition color that was part of a palette from a few months ago. I learned it's important to prime my lids with one of her pale cream shadows first and then wet my brush before using the shadow. It lasts forever and I get compliments all the time. The only negative I have is that the shadow sometimes irritates my contacts at the end of the night if I apply more or inadvertently touch my eyes.

Just the right amount of sparkle
Silver Lilac and Ballet Pink are so gorgeous as sparkle toppers. The sparkle isn't massively overwhelming and I'm able to rock it in my 40's. I finally hit pan on Ballet Pink after four years of use. For those complaining about the price, these eyeshadows have outlasted my Urban Decay and Smashbox ones and are a worthwhile investment.

Too glittery
Ok, so I love Bobbi Brown, I've been using the regular Slate eyeshadow for YEARS, it's my go to almost every day. I thought I'd try the sparkle - got the Silver Moon thinking I could use it instead of or in addition to. All of the reviews said the sparkle was so subtle, etc...not the case for me. I felt like the glitter was in my eyes immediately...and it did not stay put, I put it on my lids and it was all over under my eyes. It was pretty, but way too much for me and didn't stay put, that is a problem for me with glitter, I wear contacts and don't want it in my eyes. I thought about trying a different color for just the tops under the brow...but since the glitter won't stay in place, I'm going to pass.

Sparkle Go-To
Silver Moon Sparkle Eyeshadow is my favorite of all Bobbi's sparkles. It is not too gold, not too silver. I use it layer over cream shadow, powder shadow, and eyeliner. It is so subtle compared to some of the younger sparkle "looks" out there. I always get lots of compliments.

If you are looking for the best sparkle around this is it. It has beautiful undertones and can be used alone or over any eyeshadow look to add sparkle. It is subtle and classic even though it sparkles the day away. The Audrey Hepburn of sparkle shadows.
