Skin Long-Wearing Color Corrector Stick

I decided to take a chance on this corrector (in Light Bisque) because concealers of all brands and prices I tried ended up ashy or cakey, settling into lines under my eyes. The idea is to look GOOD, right? So who needs an under-eye area with a poorly-finished appearance? I sleep on one side, so that side has more purple shading than the other. Add in my age (70+), northern-European skin that shows everything, and lots of stress and you get a very tired, unhealthy appearance. Here's what I did and maybe you can try it for yourself. Using a Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Brush, I lightly stroke some of the corrector in the inner corners and about 1/3 of the way under my eyes. Then I pat gently with my little finger. Wayne Goss on youtube has excellent tips for blending products on mature skin. I've created my own tinted moisturizer, using a little Laura Mercier blended with some discontinued Prescriptives concealer (it was THE BEST) and a little Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream. I dot that on my upper cheeks, temples, and bridge of nose and blend in. Then I dust a little Clinique powder blush on those areas for a natural healthy look. The results are impressive. Sometimes you have to think "outside the box" to create something that works for your particular situation. Don't be afraid to experiment! This Corrector Stick is a good place to start!

Sometimes when cosmetic companies make a change in a product formula, I find the new "improved" version a disappointment. That is NOT the case with this. I used the concealer pot for years successfully. The stick version is an amazing improvement. For reference, I use both the Light Peach and the Light Bisque. The stick version doesn't seem to have the white undertone. It applies and blends beautifully. The size makes it easy to apply to inner corners. Using a finger tap, this concealer blends and corrects evenly, using less product. The pot version is tacky, this stick is not. Bobbi Brown WINNER! I plan to try the concealer stick too.

Finally, and I mean finally I've found a corrector/concealer that works on my aging skin and I've tried everything. It's lightweight, does not fall into lines and wrinkles, and lasts for hours and hours. I have light/to-med skin tone and I use Light Bisque and Bisque. I put it on heavy "for my standards" 2 swipes below and 2 on top of the eye area and use either my finger or a makeup sponge to push it into the skin. It's just beautiful, and I hope they never discontinue this product. In my opinion it's for dry skin over 50 and it's so moisturizing, my eyes never look dry and old and this long time sun worshiper has lots of wrinkles. AND... I also put a very light dusting of By Terry Hyaluronic Tinted Hydra-Powder in N1 Rosy Light. Love, love, love this product!

I love this corrector stick! It covers the “greenish” hue above my lip and the dark circles under my eyes. I usually use a beauty blender to apply this. It goes well under liquid or powder foundation. No caking and lasts all day!

I've always had darkness around my eye due to what's called blue vein, when your skin is thin and see through and your veins there give the appearance that you had a bender every night your entire life. This does help under the concealer to make the area less dark. I think it applies best if you tap your finger on it, then apply, as opposed to directly rubbing it on your skin. Still looking for the product that completely covers the dark areas.

I didn’t think I could wear just this and no concealer but it does the job. Very satisfied with it.
