It works
It is light and absorbs quickly but leaves the skin smooth. It really does help smooth the fine lines.

Serum made my fine lines prominent
I am 51 and have dry skin. My skin actually became tighter and my lines more prominent. I'll go back to the Kate Sommerville Quench.

Good but I'm not wed to it
I have very sensitive and ultra dry skin. I use Bobbi Brown products exclusively for skin care and almost exclusively for makeup as I've found I can rely on them to make my skin look great and be of top quality. I started using this Extra Repair serum a little over a year ago, switching from BB's Intensive Repair Serum which I found just a little too drying for me after several months of use.
This Extra serum does not dry my skin and works great as day serum over Extra Balm Rinse cleansed skin as a primer coat before Extra Moisture Balm and then Luminous Makeup. BUT, Extra Serum does not have enough "oomph" as an age minimzing night repair serum for me. My skin is in very good condition but I'm looking for more night time repair care than this provides. And it's expensive.
So, if I could find a product equally as gentle with more "oomph", given what I'm paying for this, I'd make the switch. This is a happy relationhip for now, but in terms of cost to benefit, I'm not wed to this product.

a product that works!
I live in a dry climate with plenty of winter weather. The Repair Serum is an important part of my twice daily skincare routine and thought it is expensive, it is worth it! My friends tell me I have very few wrinkles, and I'm over 60. Another thing about Bobbie Brown products; they are really good to the last drop. The delivery system makes it possible to get every bit out of the bottle--love that!

LOVE!
I started using Bobbie Brown less than a year ago and have seen a huge transformation in my skin. The serum is one of my favorite products. I use it in the morning, alone, before I work out to provide just enough moisture so my skin does not feel tight. Later, I use it in combination with the rest of the extra line to add a ton of moisture. My skin is usually VERY dry and flaky but this product has made a world of difference.

The minute I applied this for the first time I knew I had to have it. I use all Bobbi Brown's "Extra" for face and eyes.

Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum
This is an excellent face serum for day and night. I have rosacea and sensitive skin.This serum is soothing and my skin looks great. Great results from a great product with a fair price.
