Bobbi Brown
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics was founded in 1990 with the introduction of 10 super-wearable lipstick shades. Revolutionary foundation sticks soon followed, as well as a complementary skin care line that underscored the brand's purpose: to enhance the natural beauty of the wearer—working with what's already there, without any artificial colors—so a woman always looks and feels like herself.

Moisturizing! Great colors
I got this in 2 colors - the slightly warmer tone "Give a Fig", and the cooler/slightly mauve tone "In a Jam". I have sensitive lips and this lip product does not dry or bother my lips at all. It goes on almost as a gloss, then slightly dries to a satin-finish lipstick. It doesn't "last all day", but it lasts longer than any lipgloss I've tried, and is more moisturizing than a lipstick.

Difficult to use
This lip "balm" comes in quite wonderful colors but it's application is very difficult. Any small error outside the lipline is immediately apparent and difficult to remove. One must keep dipping into the liquid to keep the same degree of color going. If it were applied by a professional make-up artist for a photo op it would be lovely. For everyday use, though, it's a hot mess. Both Big Apple and Peach and Quiet are going back.

One of the best liquid lipsticks I've used!
Definitely one of the best liquid lipsticks that I've ever used, the color payoff is fantastic with these. There's 14 different (and equally gorgeous) shades to choose from, so just how I managed to whittle it down to only two in the end (Bitter Sweet and In a Jam) at Sephora I will never know! They go on semi-matte with a slight sheen but not sticky like lip glosses, yet nor are they drying in any way like matte lip sticks can be. If anything I find these to have a moisturizing effect on my lips and I've noticed they're less dry at the end of the day when removing the lipstick, compared to others I've used before, i.e Too Faced Melted Matte liquid lipstick. So far I haven't needed to use with a lip liner, although for more precision you can do, personally it just doesn't feel necessary to me. The only very minor criticism I have of these is that they do fade/transfer and I end up re-applying at least once, maximum twice later in the day. I find allowing them a couple of hours from applying, before eating or drinking definitely helps them last longer. Managing to remember that however is a different matter! -> My ‘Nordstrom Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Nordstrom) <- < 1. Hair Loss Treatment: Divine Herbal Hair Oil < 2. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer < 3. Lip Gloss: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil < 4. Mascara: ‘Lancome’ – Cilis Booster XL < 5. Anti-Aging Serum: Divine Herbal Facial Treatment Serum < 6. Mask: ‘Eve Lom’ – Radiance Transforming Mask < 7. Face Scrub: ‘Sisley' - Botanical Gentle Buffing Cream

Great color and long lasting.
I received a sample in the color Smoothie Move and liked it so much that I ordered 2 more colors. Give a Fig is a perfect pink based neutral. It’s now my go to lip color. I also purchased Peach & Quiet. This is a lovely color for Spring & Summer. It brings out the blue in my eyes. The formula is a perfect mix between lipstick and lip gloss. My only complaint is the applicator. The product tends to gob at the end. You can use a lip brush or just be careful to smooth it out. I’m going back for more colors so the applicator issue hasn’t stopped me from loving the color.

Nice balm, nice color.
"Hippy Shake" lip color by Bobbi Brown is definitely a balm. It brushes on with a doe's foot applicator. The lipstick manages to be soft but not at all sticky which would be a deal breaker for me. If you want a nude balm for the summer, this will do nicely.

Bobbi Brown does it again
This lipstick is absolutely beautiful on. It’s hydrating and comfortable on the lips, and has decent but not terribly long lasting wear. It also doesn’t feather on mature lips. If only it lasted a little bit longer than about an hour and a half on the lips, and it does come off when you eat. But overall it is a beautiful lipstick and I would buy it again and again.

Moisturizing color
I ordered Juicy Date based on swatches I saw on a YouTube video. It looked like a subtle pinkish nude that would be an everyday color for me. Unfortunately it pulls very orange/coral which doesn't really suit my skin tone. The formula is very moisturizing and balm like with the color pay out of a lipstick. I may try a different shade.
