Made with proprietary BloqTek™ sun-protective performance fabric, this crop top provides UPF 50+ protection and has been laboratory tested to block 98% of UVA and UVB rays. The chemical-free sun protection is woven directly into the fabric fibers, so the UV protection does not wash out and continues to provide lasting coverage every time you wear the garment. This means you can simply put it on and go without having to think about applying sunscreen to the areas covered by the shirt. The silky, lightweight fabric provides a soft and breathable feel while helping you stay comfortable in warm weather. Four-way stretch gives the crop top comfortable flexibility and freedom of movement, making it easy to wear while running, biking, playing tennis, golfing, paddle boarding, or participating in other active pursuits. UPF uses a protection rating comparable to SPF for sunscreen, and while an average white cotton top provides only about UPF 5, BloqTek™ fabric provides UPF 50+ protection. The fabric is also free of BPA and BPS toxins. In addition to its sun-protective properties, BloqTek™ provides a cooling effect of approximately 5 degrees when wet with water or sweat. The fabric is also designed for easy-care performance and everyday durability. For best results, lay the crop top flat or hang it to dry away from natural sunlight, and do not iron or use a heated tumble dryer. Some sunscreens may cause discoloration of the garment, so take care when applying sunscreen while wearing it. For spot cleaning, BloqUV recommends products such as a Tide to Go Pen, Clorox non-bleach wipes, or baby wipes. When using a Tide to Go Pen, do not rub the fabric vigorously and instead blot the affected area. For best results, wash the garment after applying the cleaning product, and use a Tide to Go Pen on light-colored garments only.
