The chemical-free UV protection is built directly into the fabric fibers, so it does not wash out, fade, or diminish over time, giving you reliable sun protection every time you use it. The fabric is also free of BPA and BPS toxins. Wash the wrap before wearing because some colors may bleed, and machine wash it on a gentle cycle with cold water and like colors only. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, and do not wash the wrap with Velcro. For best results, lay the wrap flat or hang it to dry away from natural sunlight, and do not iron or use a heated tumble dryer. Some sunscreens may cause discoloration of the fabric, so take care when applying sunscreen while using the wrap. For spot cleaning, BloqUV recommends products such as a Tide to Go Pen, Clorox non-bleach wipes, or baby wipes. When using a Tide to Go Pen, do not rub the fabric vigorously and instead blot the affected area. For best results, wash the wrap after applying the cleaning product, and use a Tide to Go Pen on light-colored garments only.
