Kyra Waterproof Lug Sole Chelsea Boot

I usually wear a 9.5 but the 9 fits perfectly. Super cushy foot bed. Soles provide good traction for rainy Seattle.

These are nice but insanely huge. I am usually a 7.5 or 8 and the 7.5 is too big. Order a .5 size down from the smallest size you typically wear. Sadly, they’re now sold out of the size I need.

Confused at the rec to size up! I ordered a 9.5 which is my usual size in a shoe with socks. These are so big, going to try to return for a 9! Otherwise very comfy and cute!

This is my second pair of boots from this brand. I’m a size 7.5 in dress shoes and an 8 in boots and sneakers. Some of the reviews suggest to size down and others to size up, so I decided to stick to my usual size and glad I did. With medium-weight socks, my toes do touch the front of the boot slightly with lots of room in the heels, so if I size up to an 8.5, there could be too much slippage in the heel. One downside is that the left boot fits more snug and narrow than the right. I hate when that happens. I have average width feet with bunions, and I think these boots would be too narrow for those with wider feet. Leather is soft and high-quality and doesn’t seem to rub or cut into the ankles or calves when walking. Nice weight too—not too heavy. Lug soles give them an edgy look. Zippers make it easy to take on and off, and the material at the top is stretchy. I bought these for walking around Paris, and I think they’ll work well.

I had to return and size down, when I put them on I noticed my heal sliding up and down and was very uncomfortable to wear. I’d like to try a smaller size again but are sold out. I’ll keep searching!

It’s a bit confusing on whether to size up or down based on Nordstroms rec and reviews. However, I wanted to atleast share - for me, I needed to get half a size up if I wanted to wear socks and walk a lot of steps in them. I originally got my normal size and they fit fine but my big toe grazes the top of the shoe.
