Faux Leather Bomber Jacket with Removable Hood

I am a 38DD and a size M/8-10 in most things. This jacket made me look like a bubble on top. The gathered bottom just made everything up top look wider. I tried a M, L and XL and the bubble affect was full force in all three. A friend with a small frame, much less chest and a completely flat stomach tried it on and it was adorable. The quality is lovely, it doesn’t look faux at all. It’s a great looking jacket - I just don’t think it’s the right fit for anyone with any curves.

BlankNYC makes the most awesome jackets, and this one definitely lives up to the name. It’s edgy, trendy, and stylish, and I love the removable hood. It can be dressed up or down, and it’s just fun to wear. I am just never disappointed with this brand of jackets! With BlankNYC faux leather moto jackets I often size up to a medium, but this fit more like their denim jackets, and the small was perfect (5’5”, 135, between 32 or 34 D or DD).

I love BlancNYC jackets and saw this on the anniversary sale and thought, meh I'll just buy it for pickup and try it on. Will probably return it. I went to pick up my order - a lot of stuff from several orders - and this jacket wasn't in the bag. I didn't even notice, that's how much I didn't really care if I got this or not. I finally noticed when I put in yet ANOTHER order, and looked around to see if I brought it home and didn't remember. Nope. I called the customer service number, they called the store, and the store shipped it to me immediately and I got it the next day. Gotta love Nordy customer service. And now on to why I love it - it's much more of a bomber jacket than I thought it was when I looked at it, which is a good thing! And the detachable hoodie is perfect. I can't think of a more apropos word for how it looks than cool. It just looks cool. And as others have said, the faux leather looks and feels amazing - my boyfriend was surprised that it wasn't leather. I'm 5'8", ~130, athletic body and usually wear small tops, but I tend to get medium jackets so it's not constricting and I can wear stuff underneath comfortably. The medium is perfect for what I didn't know I was looking for. In summary - get it!

When I saw this online I honestly hated it, I didn’t think the grey with the deep burgundy went together but then I saw it in store and omg! I love the colors together, it’s very soft, the inner lining is very soft, feels nice and thick, and love that it can be super casual. This jacket is a thousand times better in person and I am VERY picky with jackets. Just buy it and see for yourself! Im 5’1 113lbs and I got the xs, fits roomy but doesn’t look big. More of a relaxed casual fit then fitted.

Just as another reviewer said, this is yet another fabulous jacket from Blank NYC. I had zero intentions of getting this jacket when I previewed sale because I didn’t need another Blank NYC jacket, but it caught my eye when I was browsing in store. The leather is very soft and the hoodie part can be zipped off which makes the jacket easy to dress up and down. I can’t wait to wear this once the weather cools. I’d say the picture of the jacket in grape doesn’t quite depict the color in person. In person, the jacket is brown with a purple (grape) hue. It’s a nice twist on the typical brown jacket and gives it something different. I definitely recommend checking this jacket out during Anniversary.
