Blair Faux Suede Jacket

Very impressed by the design and quality of this jacket. It’s weighty, structured, comfortable, and the collar is nice and stiff. The exact kind of fabric I want to wear on a chilly fall day. The sleeve snap detail gives it extra interest. It’s straight cut, so it has a boxy fit, but the structured fabric and the shoulder seam placement (not a drop shoulder) make it a good boxy versus a frumpy boxy. Tall girl and hourglass shape approved. The brown is a neutral dusty brown (the pictures make it look warmer) and has a dark brown pop behind the zipper that adds a nice touch. It gives field-jacket-meets-moto-jacket vibes. The red is a vibrant blue-red and looks less casual, you could dress it up with dark jeans or a black jumpsuit. Another comment mentioned a bad smell, I tried multiple sizes and colors and did not experience that, so that may have been a fluke. As with all FP clothes, sizing is a mystery… I’m a US size 12 (38D), normally a large in other brands, and I went with a medium. It fits well with a bit of room left for layering. I’d recommend TTS if you’re going for the “I stole my boyfriend’s jacket” look, otherwise size down one.

Upon opening the package, this jacket had the most horrific fish smell ever. My husband and I were both disgusted as that is not normal for a piece of clothing. Immediately put it back into the bag to return. Very gross

The jacket was super cute, however there was a distinct smell from the moment I opened the package. I tried to let it air out but the smell was too overpowering. Sadly, had to return

This is the second FP faux suede jacket I attempted to get--overall poor quality, picture looks nothing like the jacket in person, super oversized, bummed 👎🏼
