Jackie Belted Stretch Gabardine Sheath Dress

I purchased this dress today from my local Nordstrom. I was a little skeptical because I read ALL of the reviews online and was thinking I may have to go up a size. I am a true size 8, about 5'7" and curvy so it was very important for me to try the dress on. I tried on the 8 and it fit perfectly. I did take the size 10 in the dressing room and tried it on but it was very loose fitting! The dress is made to hug your curves. The dress is VERY class but also VERY sexy. Did I mention I got the dress in COBALT?! I just LOVE THE COLOR. I tried the COBALT on first and then tried the black one...the black did no justice. This dress was definitely an investment!

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it online. Normally, I'm a size 0, but this dress runs small, especially in the waist, so I sized up. The size 0 fit really well in the bust, but was super tight in the torso. I opted for a size 2 and had it altered to fit. The red is a true, saturated red, though it looks more orange-red online, it isn't in real life. The peacock blue color is also deep in tone and would look smashing during the fall and winter. This dress has been seen on several celebrities recently. I actually noticed it on Scarlett Johannson in the color taupe in the latest Iron Man film. Made me proud of my choice, lol. I wasn't familiar with this label before, but now I will definitely check them out on a a more regular basis.

A fabulous, slimming, A+ dress. I felt like a million in this dress. Fits a bit small to size. Looks simple on the hanger but this is a stunner on ladies. I am a 52 year old size 12, bought the 14 and it fit perfect. Wore for an Oct. outdoor wedding in the evening, in the NW. When I tried this on there was a 25 year old who saw me in it...she bought one in blue she like it so well, for her birthday trip to Las Vegas.
