Disappointing
How could such wildly expensive, shearling slippers by Birkenstock be so hard, unyielding and bumpy underfoot? I was so looking forward to these, bought two sizes and picked them up at the store to make sure I got the right fit. They do run a little big but the real problem was that they were so uncomfortable.

How could such wildly expensive, shearling slippers by Birkenstock be so hard, unyielding and bumpy underfoot? I was so looking forward to these, bought two sizes and picked them up at the store to make sure I got the right fit. They do run a little big but the real problem was that they were so uncomfortable.

Love these for my house shoes
I love these Birkenstock house shoes but after trying 5 pairs I found sizing is not standard. I ended up with my usual size but strangely in a different color, the fit was totally different. I ended returning this black version and kept the caramel color, size 40. Same size I wear in Birkenstock Gizeh and Arizona sandals.
This slipper is warm while still giving me the same Birkenstock fitting insole. I also received a pair from Amazon with a suede bottom. So, not indoor/outdoor. The rest of the shoes I tried all had outdoor bottoms. I’m not sure Amazon doesn’t sell knockoffs. Be careful. Nordstroms had quality Birkenstocks but not sure fit wasn’t standard.
