Rio Metallic Sandal

I really wanted these to work for my daughter, they are so cute. I ordered these online for my daughter. Her normal size was too big, so we ordered the next size down and they were SO much smaller. I was surprised to see such a difference between the two sizes. We went to the store to confirm it wasn't just a random issue with that specific pair. Also the straps were fitting quite differently with the holes on the straps, leaving more holes on one side than the other. We had to go with a different brand for her this time.

I purchased these in silver for my 4-yr-old so we could match (I have silver birks and love them). She said she liked them, but instead she ended up choosing Salt Water Sandales (in gold - so much for matching!). She said the Birks were stiff to walk in (compared to the salt waters). It’s hard to tell with a 4 yr old, but these shoes do take some wearing in. In the end, I let her choose because I want her to be happy and wear them! The Birks are well made. Her foot size is 10 1/2 and I purchased size 11, which was a good fit with room to grow. Only 4 stars because she didn’t choose them, otherwise, they’d get a 5.
