Granada Soft Slide Sandal (Women)

I've been seeing huge inconsistencies in the way Birkenstocks' width is described. I've seen different sites use "Narrow", "Wide", "AA", "A", "A-B", "B", "B-C", E" "Reg", "Med", etc. Some of these are self-explanatory, and it may have just been wishful thinking that made me order these sandals listed as "B", hoping that meant Birkenstock's traditional width. However, when I got them I could see these were the narrow width and nowhere wide enough for my feet. I couldn't even buckle the buckles in the last hole. I think even the narrow width has grown more narrow than it used to be! The style and color were cute and I so wish they had fit, or that you had them in the wider width. Luckily, return shipping was free--which I really appreciate. I'm only giving four stars because of this size labeling issue. Can't you find a clearer way to do it?

Very comfortable, I wear them everywhere with both dresses and skinny jeans, shorts and skirts. I also prefer the soft footbed because I have a very flat foot, not too much of an arch. If you don't, they recommend you buy hard footbed Birks. I had a hard time deciding between Granada and Arizona, but these look more stylish to me. The tabacco color I ordered is very versatile, it works with different colors and elongates the leg. I love them!!! Wish they were cheaper. :D

I wish Birkenstock’s came out with a true NARROW option not N-M because it’s still too wide in the footbed and too loose having the buckle on the very last hole. Plus the leather stretches even more with wear. It was a disaster for me, the shoes were flopping all over the place within a few days of wear but the footbed length was fine. Please keep us narrow footed people in mind too, I’m sure many will appreciate the narrow option.
