Wrong width
Nice sandals, but the website said they were narrow width and what arrived was regular (wide) width. And I frequently get the wrong width when I order Birkenstocks from Nordstrom online, so unfortunately they get returned.

Love them but quality issues
I ordered a pair in sandstone and really liked them but one of the straps on the left shoe isn’t attached in the right spot making it uncomfortable and look strange. So I ordered another pair of sandstone as well as a pair in dove gray. The second pair of sandstone has an even worse strap placement issue making the left shoe unwearable and the gray right shoe has a different strap placement issue making it unwearable. I now have three pair of these and not one that’s wearable. I’m really torn between ordering yet again or just giving up and returning them as I really like them but it seems to be impossible to get a pair that’s put together correctly. Very disappointing for a brand like Birkenstock and a $145 price.

Sometimes you get a one-off
I wear a 9w or 9ww in most shoes. Sometimes an 8.5 ww. European sizing fits me well. I wear a 40 in a reg/wide in Birks- never narrow. This size gives me a little room at the end, but the width is sufficient. I also ordered these exact same shoes in white from Birks directly, and even though the sandcastle fit me PERFECTLY, the white hurt my little toe on only one foot. I called and explained my predicament, and exchanged them for the exact same color and size, but this time, they fit. It wasn't my imagination because I compared the footbed of my comfy ones with the ones that didn't fit, and there was ever so SLIGHT difference in cut. I figure it was a one-off, because the new pair fit nicely. They get more comfy the more you wear them. I recommend watching a Birk sizing video on you tube. Proper fit is essential to comfort.

More feminine than the traditional Birkenstock.
These are very cute and soft. I think they are more feminine than the traditional Birkenstock. I'm going to trade the C for the B width. The C is a smidgen too wide. I hope the B isn't too narrow. Just for reference: I wear a 8.5 (39), regular width in other shoes.

Love the style but had a size Size issue
I loved the color… but I did have to return them..due to size… I am an 8.5 (39)in most shoes..
But with the Birkenstocks I had to go down a size… to a 7 (38)..
