I'm new to Birkenstocks and have to confess I wanted them because of the fashion trend, but didn't know if I could pull it off. The patent leather gives the outfits I plan to wear with it a fun and fresh look - it is SUPER comfy to boot. I don't think I'm ever going to want to switch to other sandals this summer. Good luck finding the white ones for very long. they were out on line and I was told they weren't replenishing these. I was lucky and located a pair at my local store.

The Birkenstock Arizona sandal is one of the best I have ever worn. I have about 8 pair now. And, I believe I got them all from Nordstrom's. I have two of the three strap style in the soft bed also. Those are fabric and print and I love them for slippers. You now have those in white leather, so I will be getting those also. I had a problem with plantar faciitis and could not wear even the Finn Cofort or the Think sandals for very long. I have been wearing the Birkenstock ever since. There is no other shoe for me on a daily basis except these wonderful sandals. They are worth every penny.

I purchased three pairs of Birkenstocks this Spring, these are definitely the most comfortable. Can't stop wearing them. I purchased the taupe and they are a beautiful color. Thinking of getting the black patent Birkenstocks too

The black patent leather is very fashionable and cute. They were very uncomfortable out of the box and I am working on breaking them in.

Comfortable, but top strap may scratch your toes.

I was really hoping to love these as much as I love my thong-style Birks but they just didn't do it for me. Too much leather on the top of my foot for a hot summer day and I just felt like a troll in them. Also, seemed nearly too short for my textbook size 8 foot. Sent them back and got a new pair of thong-style Birks instead.
