If you are on the hunt for a great pair of Birkenstocks, that will last you for years, buy these. The quality of this particular Birkenstock is outstanding. The leather upper has substance, the insole is suede leather and the sides are cork. All three need to be maintained, however. For the leather straps, I applied a leather protectant. I sprayed Scotchguard on the suede insole. For the cork, I applied a cork sealant. On the heel, I had my shoe repair guy add heel caps to keep the heel from wearing down too rapidly-these cost about $5. (probably not everyone needs them, but I tend to wear down the outside heel edges. The Birkenstocks look great with torn jeans, casual dresses, my yoga attire. I wear them almost everyday, and I recommend them for their support-to keep your legs from developing veins or leg fatigue. They are awesome your low back. The support on the insole is tremendous!! Yes, I feel super cool in these Birkenstocks. I so prefer these to the "nutbuck" ones that are so available (almost the same cost) but not real leather. Highly recommend!!!

I ordered these in the Habana Oiled Leather to try Birkenstock shoes for the first time and they are absolutely lovely. I ordered two more pairs for family members, one in the same color and another in the Black Oiled Leather, who also enjoy them as their first pair of Birkenstocks. They took about 3 days of constant wear to break in, which was slightly painful for the first day, then after they feel very comfortable and molded to my foot shape. I am always between a US 5.5-6 for shoes, usually going to size 6 for running shoes, sneakers, and going to size 5.5 for flats. For these, I ordered the EU size 36, which is recommended for US size 5-5.5 and they fit much better than the size EU 37 I bought for a relative, which was a bit too large and clunky for my feet. These style of sandals are unisex, so when Nordstrom sells it as Women's version, that refers to Birkenstock's narrow width. The narrow width in the unisex styles are considered to be closer to the average width of women shoes, so it is recommended to order in the narrow width of these shoes on the Birkenstock website. Nordstrom takes that into account in calling Birkenstock's narrow width as women's medium.

I already have a pair of Birkenstock and they are comfy but I don’t know why these pair are absolutely comfier! I went on vacation recently and I did a lot of walking running with 3 kiddos.

This is my 3rd pair! 1st pair was suede (bought 6years ago and still in great condition). 2nd pair was the clog (easy to wear). This pair I’ve wanted for such a long time but it always sells out quickly. Comfortable as ever. You always know the Birkenstock quality is dependable. Can’t wait to rock them with shorts, jeans, dresses, as soon as Covid is under control.

Love these Birks.. been wearing Birkenstocks since the 80s.. my favorite pair by far
