Only flats I have ever liked
I have never found a comfortable flat, until these. I have tons that I thought were comfortable trying on that are now in my graveyard of uncomfortable flats. AGL, Cole Haan, Keds, Tory Burch, Naturalizer, Paul Green...you name it. I wore these traveling through Europe and have worn them on numerous business trips and they were instantly comfortable. I wear them with a no-show sock liner (without the liner the shoe starts to run the back of my heal). I measure a 7.5, just a smidge past medium but not quite wide. I wear a 7.5 in sandals and pumps and 8 in flats and boots. The 8 fits me really well. I usually think all flats are too tight on my toes yet slip off my heal, making me walk awkwardly to keep them on. Not these. I have a low in step so I used large tongue pads to take yo the space and they create a snug fit so the shoe stays with me and doesn't rub. They look a bit too much like a slipper, especially in velvet. But because they are so comfortable I still wear them, even to business meetings. I presented in Vegas with these on because no one cares as much about what's on my feet than I do. Before these I always wore pointed toe heels (yes, I preferred those to flats). I plan to get navy suede next and hope they look less like a slipper.
