BILLY Footwear

Embodying the principle of universal design, inclusive brand BILLY Footwear was founded in Seattle to help people with mobility impairments put on their own shoes. Each pair incorporates zippers that go along the side of the shoes and around the toe, allowing the upper of each shoe to open and fold over completely so the wearer can place their foot onto the shoe footbed unobstructed.

Design great, quality lacking

These shoes are adorable and comfortable for my 6-year-old daughter. We love how easily she can put them on with the zipper function. However, after just a couple of months of wear, the sides are extremely scuffed and the sole detached from the toe on both shoes. I hope they improve the quality!

So cute and they zip

I had not heard of Billy snickers. I bought these for my grandson. I think they are so well made and love that they zip. What a great idea. I read the note about the Billy snickers and the creator of these snickers has helped many kids that may have a had time with laces. How innovative and cool.
