[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely pleased with the Samsonite Better Than Basic Mini Weekender Bag! It offers the perfect combination of style, functionality, and convenience. The compact design is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for travel essentials while remaining lightweight and easy to carry. The quality construction, thoughtful organization, and convenient luggage pass-through make it an excellent companion to my Samsonite luggage set. It’s ideal for weekend getaways, overnight trips, or as a personal carry-on item when flying. Samsonite has once again delivered a great product that combines practicality, durability, and value. Highly recommend!

Obviously an issue with LACK of QUALITY CONTROL. Immediately on opening the zipper just would not work, I reordered another slightly different Samsonite carry on for it to also have defective zipper. This is unacceptable for such a well known brand. It is also quite heavy. Now I have to take these back to nearest Nordstrom store 18 miles away and I want to be refunded also for the petrol which is so expensive right now. In frustration as I need new carry on I went to Costco and bought one for around $50, much better and apart from being a fraction of Samsonite price also has zippers that work.

This mini weekender was bought to use as a carry on for a recent trip to Ireland. The design works well for packing and the leather and lining fabric are very nice. The size meets international flight guidelines as a carry on. Having two types of handles helps a lot. The interior zippered pockets are very useful. Packing it for easy access and fit takes a little time and planning as the zippers will not close easily if you do not pack carefully. The four stars are basically due to the challenge of closing the top zipper after packing it full. It is at times hard to get the two sides together to zip closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this bag! It has a stylish design and is the perfect size—not too big, but surprisingly roomy inside. It fits everything I need without looking bulky and is very convenient to carry. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.
