Metallic Crinkle A-Line Gown

Great dress, runs big. Size chart says I would be a an 18 or 20 - ordered a 16 & that was still big. My measurements for ref: 48 chest 40 waist 50 hips. I could have done a 14 but I’d rather it be too big than too small. Had it altered and was so comfortable for a formal event. Lots of compliments & the pockets were great. Loved the slit but wore lace shorts bc it is high. Would buy again. Fabric can snag. It’s ok with seatbelts but not hangnail / splinter sized abrasions.

I bought this for a formal event in Miami Beach this fall- I wanted something fun instead of stuffy and this was a great choice. The fabric is so light, it does not wrinkle and packs easily for travel. In my usual size the fit was perfect but I have a large chest - if you are smaller chested, then you may want to size down. Very comfortable - only suggestion is I would prefer the neckline was a bit wider, more like the version for regular misses sizes, but this is not a dealbreaker for me.

I originally got this in a 22 but returned it for at 18. It fit way better and the band around the waist is in a better position now. Nice quality, doesn't wrinkle, which is perfect bc I need to pack this dress in a bag. It's very long so that's the only alteration needed. Im 5'5" 255lbs
