Absolutely Rancid
I am truly baffled that anyone could like this scent. I’m a big Phlur fan and have never disliked a scent I’ve purchased from them, so I’m willing to blind buy since I know it’ll be a lovely scent even if it doesn’t end up being a fave.
Berry Cream had the makings of my ideal scent— I love berry tones, creamy vanilla, fruity scents… and this literally has NONE of it. Every note is nowhere to be found. It’s not fruity. It’s not creamy. It’s not even floral with the Violet Milk notes… it just smells like rubbing alcohol which burns your nostrils. I’ve spent all morning trying to spray the scent in different areas of my house, on different things (like paper, a tissue, my clothes etc) to see if that helps and it’s just engulfed my house in this rancid alcoholy scent that is just headache inducing. I’m so disappointed because I expected to love it and haven’t seen anyone talk about how it doesn’t really smell like any of the notes promised. I’m glad I got the smaller bottle but wish I could return it and get my money back as I’ll never spray it again… unless I’m around anyone I don’t like and then maybe I would.

Surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was going to be a very sweet fragrance. Is it sweet? Yes, but not too sweet with an indulging creaminess to it. I was skeptical, but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite mists! I love the milky creaminess of the mist with the berries. It’s warm and enveloping. If you like a warm berry scent, this is for you.
