Catwalk Flat (Women)

I wear a size 10M, maybe a 9.5 W but I have bought this brand in 40 (my usual), 41, and this style in a 42. The right was too narrow, the left flopped when I walked - too large. The 42 hit the toes just as the 40 and 41 did. They are light weight, nice but I give up on Bernie Mev - no quality control, no consistency in fit, one pair came with a nice lump in the foot bed. Nice that Nordstrom tolerates this with free shipping but there are other brands of woven elastic. Maybe one is as lightweight but some have the usual heavy sole.

I am a big Bernie Mev fan. When I saw these adorable shoes, i had to have them. My other Bernie Mev shoes are a size 38 but these supposedly ran small so i ordered a size 39. They were incredibly small. I returned them. I had to wait a few weeks before the size 40 was back in stock. The size 40 was too small in the left foot and too big in the right. I ordered 2 more pairs of size 40. I really wanted these shoes. One pair was way too big. The other pair had a right shoe that fit perfectly, but alas the left one hurt because it was too small. I have given up. I hope others have better luck.

Very unfortunate that there are no warnings that this brand runs very small. I ordered a half size up and these are still shockingly too tight. since they are elastic, you can force your foot in the shoe but it crushes your toes and feels like your foot is wrapped up in tight rubber bands. NOT comfortable at all. That being said, if the shoe was the correct size it would definitely be a comfortable and cute casual shoe. There is no hard scratchy spots inside so wearing with no socks should be easy. Very cute look.

This is a very comfortable "sneaker," much like a bedroom slipper. It is not big on arch support but is exceptionally lightweight and wonderfully flexible. Its variegated dark blue color makes it great with jeans. It runs small and I had to return it for a larger size. You could run around town the livelong day in these shoes!
