Quilted Poncho

What an adorable poncho, which has a fashion focus and offers little warmth. I give it a low score because it constantly unsnaps—when my body twists a bit, and also when I just sit in the car. I find it unsnapping all through the day. Once unsnapped, the poncho is not secure on the body. So frustrating that such loose snaps were used for this!

This is my second quilted cape. I like having my arms free but staying warm. The XL was too large. I am a 5’7” plus size and the ML was perfect. I got the gray since my other cape was black. The gray can be dressed up or dressed down. Really practical. Did not realize it was water resistant too.

I wasn't sure about this when I bought it (at full price--wishing I had waited!), but it's great. I don't regret the purchase at all. I was looking for something that would be an "easy pile on" over other heavy sweaters etc, and I wanted gray, which is hard to find in a coat. This was perfect. The gray is really pretty. The layer feels like a "vest" thickness (possibly a little thinner). It is well made--zipper and all construction seem solid. It is warm over sweaters in 30 degree and above weather. Really happy with this find. I wear an 18W/2XL and the XL/XXL size was perfect---big even--which is good considering what is supposed to be.

I actually love this poncho jacket, but I have to agree with some of the other reviews. It is ridiculous that it unsnaps EVERY time I get into my car. Even buttons might be stronger. When I read someone’s review prior to buying it, I thought: how bad can it be? I must admit it is frustrating. It really is a good looking, comfortable poncho, but it is most definitely a flaw in the design.
